A subsidiary of Springfield Medical Care Systems, which also operates a network of seven community health centers, Springfield Hospital is a certified critical access hospital serving communities in southeastern Vermont and southwestern New Hampshire. 

We offer inpatient and outpatient care, 24-hour emergency care, adult day care in Springfield, VT, and a broad array of specialty care services. A comprehensive program of inpatient mental health services are offered at The Windham Center in Bellows Falls, VT which complements outpatient mental health services offered through the SMCS community health center network.
