Part time audiologist working with an ENT physician in physician office. Part time 24 hours a week flexible schedule.  Would prefer 1 – 2 years experience but not mandatory. Must have Vermont License.

PHP Clinician II            Windham Center                    Full Time
The PHP Clinician II participates in a leadership role in the development and implementation of psychotherapeutic treatment plans and group programs as a member of a multidisciplinary psychiatric team. Provides individual therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention and clinical supervision. Education: Masters Level in Social Work, Clinical Counseling Psychology. Experience: Five years post graduate experience in psychiatric field; demonstrate knowledge in supervision and crisis intervention.

Diet Clerk/Cook            Nutritional Services                    Per Diem
The Diet Clerk follows all departmental procedures in preparation of diets for all patients. The Diet clerk uses written and verbal communication skills effectively and considerately. The Cook demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities for diet preparation. The Cook follows all sanitation and food handling specifications. Experience: One year previous experience in food service. Education: High School Graduate.

Medical Technologist/MLT        Laboratory            Full Time    Part Time   Per Diem
A Certified medical technologist has an understanding of the underlying scientific principles of laboratory testing as well as of the many factors which affect health and disease. Recognizes the importance of proper test selection, causes of discrepant test results. Education: Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology with MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification or Certification as MLT (ASCP) and MT (HHS) minimum. Certification: MT (ASCP) or equivalent. Experience: One year general lab experience preferred. Will also consider a Medical Lab Technician or a Certified Lab Technician with state required certification and one year general lab experience.

Teachers will interact personally and professionally with children, parents and staff. Teachers will create and plan age appropriate curriculum development programs. Education: BA degree in Early childhood or human/child dev. Or a related field; which includes one year experience. Licensed from the Vermont Dept .of Education. Experience: One year successful age appropriate experience in school.

The Radiographer will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures. The Radiographer will perform department ancillary function. The Radiographer will provide education to patients and staff. Education: A graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology and Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensure: AART, Vermont State License.

Looking for full-time experienced physical therapist to join our Rehabilitation Department. Off site out patient clinic, inpatient located at the Hospital, and aquatic therapy in our new town Recreation Center offer a varied caseload of orthopedic, post-surgical, neurologic, vestibular, and more. Manual skills are a plus. Graduation from and accredited school of Physical Therapy required. Must be licensed or license eligible in the State of Vermont.

Mental Health Worker        Windham Center Inpatient                Part Time
The Mental Health Worker will follow the plan of care as directed by the RN. The Mental Health Worker will perform safe patient care adhering to the Policies and Procedures of Springfield Hospital. The Mental Health Worker will assist in the management of the milieu in accordance with the policy and procedures to ensure safety and a therapeutic environment. Education: High School Diploma

Licensed Clinical Social Worker    Windham Center Inpatient                   Per Diem   
The Psychiatric Social Worker is responsible to provide services to patients. These services include psychosocial assessments, arrangement of family and support person meetings, resource information and referrals, discharge planning, and coordination of services and care. Education: Masters of Science in Social Work. Licensed independent ACS, MSW, from accredited school. Two years prior experience in a hospital setting, social work experience in psychiatry preferred.  DBT Intense Training required.

Registration Coordinator        Registration                        Per Diem   
The Registration Coordinator will communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal and external customers. Interview patients/family to obtain billing/personal information. The Registration Coordinator will contribute to a pleasant and cooperative team environment. Education: High School Diploma.. Experience: Six months to one year clerical including strong computer skills.

Environmental Services Aide        Environmental Services                Per Diem

Routinely selects cleaning materials and supplies. Maintains assigned areas according to policy and procedures. Uses written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates minimum job knowledge, skills and abilities, respects patient population. Assists in training of new staff members. Maintains age specific safety precaution. Education: The ability to read, write and speak English. Experience: Six months previous housekeeping experience in a health care facility preferred.

The Mental Health Worker will follow the plan of care as directed by RN. The Mental Health Worker will perform safe patient care adhering to Polices and Procedures of Springfield Hospital. The Mental health Worker will assist in the management to ensure safety and a therapeutic environment. Education: High School Diploma or GED, CPR
training preferred.


Master Level Social Worker        Windham Center Outpatient                            Per Diem   
Participates in the development and implementation of psychotherapeutic treatment plans. Provides clinical psychosocial assessments, counseling and education.  Provides discharge and aftercare plans for all patients. Provides documentation and accuracy of records, clinical data for statistical collection.  Experience in Psychiatric/Mental Health field in inpatient, outpatient or emergency services. Two years post graduate experience in psychiatric field; demonstrate knowledge in assessment and crisis intervention. Licensure: LICSW

Charge Nurse                Emergency Department                Full Time
The Charge Nurse will utilize the nursing process and decision making skills to effectively direct the function of the Emergency Department. Experience: One year basic medical/surgical experience; four to five years emergency department experience required with previous experience supervising employees. Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; ACLS training required: adult, pediatric and trauma certifications with CEN certification preferred. BSN or equivalent experience preferred.

Registered Nurse            Intensive Care Unit                    Full Time   
The Registered utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of patient care on his/her unit for a specified group of patients on a designated shift. The RN uses written, verbal communication skills effectively and considerately. The RN will promote compassionate, efficient, cost-effective and quality patient care. The RN will incorporate teaching principles into practice. The RN demonstrates qualities consistent with the role of a registered nurse. Experience: One year medical/surgical is preferred. Education Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Current with Healthcare Providers CPR course. Licensure: Vermont nursing license, ACLS within one year of hire.

The Registered Nurse incorporates the appropriate assessment and intervention skills in all interactions and the delivery of nursing care. The Registered Nurse will apply critical thinking skills and consider alternatives in the delivery of patient care. The Registered Nurse will incorporate teaching in the delivery of patient care and demonstrate competence in health promotion and disease prevention The Registered Nurse applies knowledge integration skills for the patient populations served within the Medical Surgical Unit. Experience: One year of medical surgical experience preferred. Licensure: BLS, Registered Nursing License from the State of Vermont.
