The Dietary Aide follows department procedure for tray assembly; utilizes weights and measures to assure proper portioning; assists on tray line and delivers trays to patients; follows all sanitation & food safety guidelines; coordinates area to ensure timeliness of duties; has the ability to operate cash register; assists in training of new staff members; attends department specific in service programs and mandatory hospital wide programs.

Chef Nutritional Services F/T 80pp
The Chef plans cooking schedule according to job flow; always follows recipe for consistency and quality; utilizes weights and measures to insure proper quantities; follows all sanitation and food handling procedures; plans monthly kitchen inspections & communicates areas of concerns; plans menu ideas and cooks for café and special functions; attends department specific in-service programs and mandatory hospital wide programs; ensures leadership and support to the production staff. Hours include every other weekend.
Experience: Six months previous experience in a food service department, preferable health care; six months supervisory experience.
Education: Associate degree of Occupational Studies in Culinary Arts or equivalent
Team Leader Environmental Services F/T 80pp (M-F)
The Team Leader maintains all floor surfaces according to department policies and procedures. Routinely selects cleaning materials, paper supplies, takes inventory and places order with the approval of the Director. Maintains assigned areas, completes inspections for each position; documents all maintenance issues and notifies employee with any problem areas and assists in the training of new staff members. Scheduled days of the week are Monday thru Friday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm; however must be flexible and willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift if necessary. Occasional weekends
Experience: One year floor care and supervision experience with attention to detail.
Education: The ability to read, write and speak English.
Receptionist Springfield Pediatrics P/T (40pp)
The Receptionist will accurately and expeditiously register patients; respond to requests for information, both patient specific as well as practice specific; accurately prepare and maintain patient charts; has the ability to operate and maintain office equipment; demonstrates the ability to organize the office efficiently and effectively.
Experience: Six months to one year customer service/clerical including computer operation skills.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Inpatient Physical Therapist Rehabilitation Department F/T (70-80pp) M-F
The Rehabilitation Department is in search of an experienced in-patient physical therapist to join our team. Duties include hospital inpatient and minimal off-site clinic outpatient coverage. Position offers a varied caseload of orthopedic, post-surgical, neurologic, vestibular, and more.
Experience: Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment techniques.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Licensure: Vermont Physical Therapist Licensure or License eligible
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Cardiopulmonary F/T (72pp)
The Respiratory Therapist/Technician will use Respiratory Therapy Assessment throughout all areas of the hospital; use AARC Clinical Practice Guidelines as reference; will promote compassionate, efficient, cost effective and quality patient care; incorporates teaching principles and practice; demonstrates qualities consistent with the role of a CRT/RRT; uses written, verbal and communication skills effectively and consistently.
Experience: 1 year clinical
Education: Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Program and Current Healthcare Providers CPR Course or Refresher.
Licensure: (RRT or eligible) Vermont Respiratory License
Medical Technologist/MLT Laboratory F/T (80pp Variable Shift) & P/D
A Certified medical technologist has an understanding of the underlying scientific principles of laboratory testing as well as of the many factors which affect health and disease; recognizes the importance of proper test selection, causes of discrepant test results.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology with MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification or Certification as MLT (ASCP) or MT (HHS) minimum. Certification: MT (ASCP) or equivalent.
Experience: One year general lab experience preferred. Medical Lab Technician or a Certified Lab Technician with state required certification and one year general lab experience will also be considered.
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Hospitalist F/T (80pp)
The NP/PA provides safe therapeutic care in holistic and systemic way to include the assessment and overall care management of a specified patient population under the supervision of an MD. Duties include but are not limited to, exercising independent judgment, assessment and diagnosis in the initiation of medical processes and procedures. Communicates effectively, works cooperatively with others and has respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines; utilizes standards, guideline, and protocols for care delivery.
Experience: One to three years of clinical experience with primary care management of patient population.
Education: Bachelors in Nursing, and Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of post masters certificate program for nurse practitioner or completion of an accredited physician assistant program.
Licensure: Adult or Family NP Certificate RN; Certification for advanced practice; PA Assistant, Licensed (or eligible for licensing) in VT

RN-Charge Nurse/Supervisor Medical/Surgical Unit F/T (72pp days, nights & per diem)
The RN – Charge Nurse/Supervisor is responsible for the efficient movement of patients throughout the hospital system; serves as a clinical and administrative resource for staff; promotes communication at all levels; incorporates teaching principles into practice; effectively manages clinical resources. Variable shift Positions include some weekends, holidays plus call. Flexibility required for coverage of vacations, etc.
Experience: At least 3 years of recent, progressive experience in acute care nursing, 2 years of which were in a position demonstrating leadership ability.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an RN, BSN preferred or comparable experience or degree.
Licensure: Vermont Nursing License.
Registered Nurse Child Birth Center F/T (72pp) B Shift
The Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process in the delivery of patient care for a specified group of patients on a designated shift following department specific expectations that may include Neonates, Adolescents, and Adults. Will demonstrate the skills delineated on the orientation/competency checklist; collect health data about women and newborns and use written and verbal communications skills effectively and considerately.
Experience: Experienced Labor delivery postpartum nursery nurse (NRP, fetal monitoring required).
Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, Current with AHA Healthcare Provider’s CPR Course. BSN Preferred.
Licensure: Vermont Nursing License
Registered Nurse Surgical Services (Operating Room) Per Diem
The OR Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process in the delivery of patient care on his/her unit for a specified group of patients on a designated shift; uses communication skills (written and verbal) effectively and considerately; promotes compassionate, efficient safe, cost-effective and quality patient care; incorporates teaching principles into practice; demonstrates qualities consistent with the role of a registered nurse.
Experience: One year Medical/Surgical experience, one year Operating Room experience required.
