Inpatient mental health services are provided at The Windham Center, a 10-bed inpatient unit that provides mental health services to residents of Windham and Windsor Counties and other communities. Our programs offer treatment for men and women who are over 18 years of age and include inpatient care as well as group therapy.

Outpatient counseling is offered through Springfield Medical Care Systems' community health center network, with on-site counseling offered in the primary care office setting.

Inpatient and outpatient services provide high quality, affordable, client-centered treatment. We provide optimistic compassion and a total commitment to life-long health to people with co-occurring or single disorders so they feel welcome and can gain the skills they need to function with dignity in their community.

Multidisciplinary teams, made up of psychiatrists, social workers, clinicians, drug and alcohol counselors, and nurses, guide all our programs. Our staff is dedicated to helping people with:

• Co-Occurring Disorders
  (Mental Health and Substance Abuse)
• Depression
• Personality Disorders
• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
• Psychotic Disorders

Referrals are welcomed from patients, as well as medical, mental health, drug and alcohol, and EAP professionals.

We accept payment from private insurers, Medicare, and Medicaid. Our staff verifies benefits and completes pre-authorization for treatment. Individual financial arrangements are also available for those in need.
