For many family members with seniors or disabled adults over the age of 18 who face the challenge of losing their independence, Springfield Area Adult Day Service is an alternative to residential care.
We provide physically- or cognitively-impaired adults with a structured program of social activities and needed healthcare, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Adult Day Service is a planned program that includes a variety of health, social and supportive services in a safe, protective environment.
Sponsored by Springfield Hospital, Adult Day Service is a community-based service designed to meet each individual's needs. Our staff is trained to meet special needs of all our participants, including those with Alzheimer's, ambulatory restrictions, confusion, dementia, frailty, incontinence, Parkinson's, and strokes and heart attack.
