SMCS Foundation is Recipient of Benefit By Von Bargen's Jewelry

On October 28, Von Bargen’s Jewelry in the Springfield Shopping Plaza will donate 10% of all sales that day to the Foundation at Springfield Medical Care Systems (SMCS), including Springfield Hospital.
“A core part of our mission at Von Bargen’s is to give back to the communities we work and live in” said Renee Piper, store manager of Von Bargen’s Springfield location. “We hope many members of the community will attend this event and show their support for the many services at our local health care provider,” she added.
Miss Vermont 2010, Caroline Bright will make an appearance at the event from 5pm to 7pm and will be available for pictures and autographs. “It is an honor for me to be involved in this event and support such a worthwhile cause,” stated Bright. Von Bargen’s jewelry is a sponsor of, and the official jeweler to Miss Vermont.
“We are grateful to Von Bargen’s for their generosity in hosting this event,” said Larry Kraft, director of the Foundation. “We rely on contributions and support from local businesses and individual members of the community. This event is a fun way for people to make a difference with their purchases,” added Kraft. ###
