Enter Now - 11th Annual Golf Challenge on September 22nd
Posted on 8/17/2011

GOLF AMIDST THE FALL FOLIAGE

The leaves on the trees will soon be turning color.  What better time of year to play golf, and what better place than Okemo Valley Golf Club in Ludlow.

Add in a good cause – regional health care — and you have the 11th annual Springfield Hospital Challenge golf tournament on Thursday, September 22.

Besides the excellent amenities of beautiful Okemo Valley Golf Club in Ludlow, golfers in this premier tournament have always received a special gift in addition to a box lunch at registration, complimentary refreshments on the course, and a post-event buffet.  This year every golfer will receive a premium Cutter & Buck golf shirt.

A and B flights ensure golfers compete at their level and increase the number of winning teams.  Trophies and gift certificates to Okemo’s pro shop are awarded to more than 1 out of every 4 golfers in the tournament.

There will be hole-in-one prizes on all par 3 holes, including $25,000 cash and a new vehicle.  A putting contest is a chance to win a cash prize plus there are prizes for longest putt and straightest drive.  Raffles make sure that everyone goes home a winner.

A four-player scramble, the Springfield Hospital Challenge has a shotgun start at 12:30 pm on Thursday, September 22. Players can enter as a team or as individuals. The entry fee for this fundraiser is $150 per person.

For sponsors, the event offers an opportunity to raise funds for the important work that Springfield Hospital does, while also providing valuable exposure and other benefits.  Sponsorship packages range in size and value and can be customized for your company.   Any money raised stays local to help fund programs that benefit the health of our communities.

Spaces are filling up fast, so act soon.  To enter or sponsor the 11th annual Springfield Hospital Challenge, contact Larry Kraft at 802-886-1600 or via email at lkraft@springfieldmed.org.
