Apple Blossom Cotillion Seeks Production Volunteers
Posted on 10/28/2011
After nine years of creating Cotillion memories, co-directors Pam Church and Carrie Jewell are stepping down after the May 2012 production. They have left their mark on this special community event and will be missed.
Event organizers at Springfield Hospital are seeking people who have an interest in or experience with similar events to join the production team this year. They are looking for choreographers and individuals with an interest in stepping into the director’s position next year.
Also needed is a children’s coordinator to manage the Future Cotillionaires, elementary school children in grades kindergarten – 4th.
The Apple Blossom Cotillion, the Springfield area’s largest single event, is going into its 56th year – and is stronger than ever. Proceeds are used for a health career scholarship and for healthy activities for area youth.
Persons interested in joining the Cotillion production team are encouraged to call Larry Kraft, Springfield Hospital Foundation, at 886-1600 or lkraft@springfieldmed.org or send a letter of interest to the Foundation office at PO Box 2003, Springfield VT 05156.
