We are pleased to provide this new on-line service that allows you to send a personal E-mail message to a family member or friend who is a patient at Springfield Hospital. Encouraging messages can play an important role in a patient's recovery.

It's Easy To Send An E-Mail Message!

Before you submit your message, please be sure that the PATIENT'S FIRST AND LAST NAME, room number (if known), and the sender's name are included in your e-mail message.

For example:
Subject: Joe Smith - Room 316

In your email message area, type your message that you would like to be delivered to the patient. The message is not confidential, so please use discretion when composing your message.

To Submit your Message

Just click on the "Send an E-mail message" icon at the bottom of the page. Your default email program will open a new message. Type your personal message and hit send. Your message will be sent to Volunteer Services at Springfield Hospital.

How Will It Be Delivered? *

All E-mail greetings received before 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, will be printed on special paper and delivered by a Springfield Hospital volunteer to the patient addressed in your E-mail. E-mail-A-Patient is a free service provided by volunteers for the comfort and convenience of our patients and their families.
