2010 Tobacco Cessation Classes
• Every Tuesday, from 9:30 am - 10:30 am, LaPinney Conference Room, Springfield Hospital
• Every Wednesday, from 5 pm - 6 pm, Springfield Hospital Library
There will also be community groups offered throughout the year in Bellows Falls, Londonderry, and Ludlow. Call and ask for dates and times. Classes are free and open to the public. With open enrollment, you can join at any class and attend six classes to obtain all the education offered in the program.
Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is available, free of charge, to all Vermont residents who attend the class. You must attend classes to receive them. The NRT will be shipped direct to your home. If you are a Vermont Resident, you may obtain free over-the-counter nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) once you join a tobacco cessation class.
Yes, You Can Quit!
Do it today and live a healthier life. These sessions include weekly meetings to learn about the health effects of nicotine, NRT replacement options, and health benefits after stopping smoking. Stress management, nutrition, and help with cravings are offered within the course. Materials are given as the class proceeds to its conclusion.
