SPRINGFIELD, VT — The public is invited to attend an official dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for Springfield’s Hospital’s new front entrance, “Shelter From The Storms,” on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 4:30 pm.
The ceremony will include recognition of the generosity of the more than 80 donors, as well as sponsors and participants of Springfield Hospital’s annual golf tournament, whose contributions made this much-needed and long-awaited addition possible. Designed by Joseph Architects, the new entrance was built by All Seasons Construction under the supervision of Mark Blanchard, Director of Engineering and Facilities for Springfield Hospital.
The presentation will include unveiling of the new mural in the hospital lobby, painted by Mark George of Charlestown, NH, recognition plaques for both the mural and the covered entrance, and a ribbon cutting for the entrance.
