Better Breathers Support Group
This support group meets the third Wednesday of every month from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm in the Springfield Hospital Level B Conference Room. For more information, please contact Mary Anne Riley, RRT, 802-885-7421.
Breastfeeding Education & Support Group
This group meets the second Tuesday of each month from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. in the Level B Conference Room at Springfield Hospital. This support group offers information and mother-to-mother support to breastfeeding and pregnant women. Leaders are Holly Trail, RN, Lactation Consultant at Springfield Hospital's ChildBirth Center and Sally Pennington, RN, IBCLC. The discussion for each meeting is flexible, depending on the needs of the women attending. Questions relating to all aspects of breastfeeding and parenting are welcome regardless of the meeting topics. Some of the topics covered will include avoiding common breastfeeding problems, when to start solid foods, and issues surrounding weaning. Pregnant mothers and mothers with their babies are welcome. Please join us for this informal gathering. Snacks will be provided. No registration is necessary. This support group meets the second Thursday of every month in the Springfield Hospital Library from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

Speaker will be provided by the A1C Champion program (by Sanofi-Aventis company). They provide people who are ordinary lay-persons who live with diabetes themselves. These people do talks about their own experiences,
coping with living with it, etc.
